In the period September 06th - 09th, 2016 will be held in Medulin, Croatia, the first training session in a series of three, aimed at the professional training of judges in the field of protection measures in civil matters regulated by the Directive no. 2004/38/EC of the European Parliament and the Council of April 29th, 2004 on the right to free movement and residence within the Member States for the Union’s citizens and their family members and the Regulation (EU) no. 606/2013 of the European Parliament and of the Council of June 12th, 2013 on the mutual recognition of protection measures in civil matters.

Along with the judges of Craiova Court of Appeal will participate judges from Suceava Court of Appeal, the Regional Court of Rijeka and the German Foundation for International Judicial Cooperation – IRZ.
The project is implemented by Craiova Court of Appeal and 3 partners, Suceava Court of Appeal (Romania), the Regional Court of Rijeka (Croatia) and the German Foundation for International Judicial Cooperation – IRZ (Germany).
The training session shall be led by an international trainer, consultant expert in the field of protection measures in civil matters, with whom experts of the judiciary system in Croatia shall hold lectures.
The training session is organized within the project Protecting the Civil Rights of the European Citizens – Multidisciplinary Approach , for which Craiova Court of Appeal has obtained a non-refundable grant worth EUR 210,946.00.
